"Strengthening industry partnerships, solid programs, and growing research capabilities are driving the Mining and Explosives Engineering Programs to continued success. Many changes to the mining engineering curriculum were implemented for 2017. These changes were necessary based on input from industry, students, and faculty alike. The curriculum will continue to evolve with industry needs, culminating in our most important goal: produce high quality mining engineers for industry. ..."
Missouri S&T's Mining Engineering program has been ABET accredited since 1936.
