Scholarships for mining engineering students are abundant.Many are available from industry, once you have worked a summer for a company.For applications, request an application form be mailed to you by contacting Mining Engineering at (573) 341-4753 or emailing mining@lists@mst.edu .

Scholarship applications should be sent to Mining Engineering in the Spring. We will review your application quickly and determine your eligibility and how much scholarship will be awarded.

Eligibility Factors

The majority of Mining Engineering scholarships are awarded on merit. The department also offers scholarships based on need. The most important factor in current student eligibility for a Mining Engineering scholarship is cumulative GPA and commitment to mining as a career. Incoming freshmen applications are evaluated on high school class rank and cumulative GPA.
